Head southwest from the Gulf waters off Indian Rocks Beach, then follow the Pinellas barrier-island coast south past Indian Shores and Redington Beach. A longer southeast leg passes offshore of Johns Pass, Treasure Island and Blind Pass before a short final turn towards St. Pete Beach. This approximate reconstruction preserves the six points visible in a map image, including the short finish link; it is not an original GPS recording. The listing gives 22 km, the image labels 22.38 km and the reconstructed line measures about 22.33 km. Both endpoints remain in the water near sandy beaches, rather than at confirmed launch or landing sites. Arrange permitted beach access independently and check surf, changing weather, inlet currents and boat traffic locally. Not for navigation.
