Leave the water off Scarborough Beach for a short southeast link, then turn south-southwest along the Illawarra coast. The long offshore leg passes Wombarra, Coledale, Austinmer and Thirroul before continuing beyond Sandon Point and Bulli towards Woonona. A final southwest link ends in the water off Woonona Beach. This approximate reconstruction retains the four visible points in a map image, not an original GPS recording. It measures about 9.92 km, compared with the image's 10.1 km and rounded 10 km listing. Neither endpoint is a confirmed launch or landing site. Arrange permitted beach access separately and assess surf, exposed rock platforms, reefs, wind and currents locally. Not for navigation.
