Stella-Plage - Hardelot-Plage | Côte d'Opale Leave the tidal foreshore at Stella-Plage, head west into open water, then follow a long northbound leg seaward of Le Touquet and the Canche estuary before turning towards Hardelot-Plage. This approximate, four-point line is reconstructed from a map image rather than an original GPS track. Its calculated length is about 19.83 km, compared with 19.99 km in the image and the rounded 20 km listing. The retained endpoints lie on the water side of mapped shoreline in the intertidal area, not at certified all-tide launch or landing sites. Broad beaches do not remove the need to assess surf, tidal streams, the Canche outflow, traffic and changing water levels.
